Recipe "Zucchini jam with orange"
Ingredients for 10 servings
squash
3 pcs. (500 g)
orange
1 pc.
sugar
500 g
Step 1/7
Wash the zucchini, remove the stalks and cut into cubes. For jam, it is better to take young zucchini with thin skin and small soft seeds - you do not need to cut off the skin of such zucchini or remove the seeds.
Step 2/7
Fold the chopped courgettes into a large bowl. Wash and halve the orange. Squeeze the juice from one half into the zucchini.
Step 3/7
Slice the other half and add to the bowl with the courgettes.
Step 4/7
Cover the courgettes with the orange sugar and leave for a few hours until the juice is released.
Step 5/7
Transfer everything to a saucepan, mix and put on the stove. Bring to a boil and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Step 6/7
Remove the pan from the heat, if desired, remove the oranges if you are afraid that the peel will be bitter. Leave for 5-6 hours, covered with a thin towel. Repeat 2 more times.
Step 7/7
Boiling the jam for the third time, pour it into dry sterilized jars, close with lids. Wrap the jars in something warm and leave to cool completely. Store in cold.
