Recipe "Corn flour lozenges"
Ingredients for 10-15 servings
cornmeal
400-500g
water
500 ml
salt

Pour warm water into a bowl, add salt, stir. Add 400g flour and knead the dough.

Add the last 100 g of flour a little: the dough should not stick to the hands, but remain elastic, should not crumble. The maximum amount of flour is 500 g, but look at the consistency of the dough.

Form balls of dough with a diameter of about 4 cm.

Flatten the dough ball, put between two sheets of parchment.

Top with a chopping board and press hard to make a flat flatbread.

Cook the tortillas in a dry, preheated pan until ruddy, a couple of minutes on each side, until inflated. When the cakes rise, they are baked.
