Recipe "Cod in Arabic"
Ingredients for 6 servings

Defrost the cod in advance in the refrigerator, rinse, dry and salt.

Cut the tomatoes into cubes, remove the green cores from the garlic, chop.

Cut off a few rings of hot pepper. Chop the cilantro.
Step 4/6
In a pan, quickly fry the cod in olive oil until golden, about 1 minute on each side. Remove the cod from the pan.

Put tomatoes and garlic in a frying pan, add tomato paste, sugar and spices, simmer for 5 minutes. Then add the fish and half the cilantro, warm everything together under the lid for another 10 minutes.

Serve the cod, sprinkled with fresh cilantro.
