Ingredients for 4 servings

cod fillet
600 g
parmesan cheese
100 g
chicken egg
3 pcs.
wheat flour
2 tbsp. spoons (+ 2 tbspoon for breading)
vegetable oil
75 ml
lemon juice
1 tbsp. spoon
soy sauce
1 tbsp. spoon
oregano
pinch
basil
pinch
ground black pepper
to taste

For the side dish:
root celery
600 g
butter
50 g
milk
100 ml
salt
to taste

Thaw the cod in the refrigerator for 6-7 hours or in ice water right in the package for 1 hour.

For the celery garnish, peel, dice and cook until soft, 30-35 minutes.

While the celery is cooking, rinse the fish, dry and cut into portions.

For the batter, mix the eggs, flour and spices, add the grated cheese. Pour the breading flour into a plate.

Roll pieces of fish in flour, then dip in batter and fry in vegetable oil for 6-8 minutes on each side over medium heat.

Put the fish on a napkin to remove excess fat.

Drain the boiled celery and mash it with a blender. Heat the butter with the milk, add to the celery purée and whisk together.
