Recipe "Classic lean cabbage cabbage soup"
Ingredients for 6-8 servings
White cabbage
300g
Onions
1 pc. (small onion)
Carrots
2 pcs.
Potatoes
4 pcs.
Garlic
1 clove
Dried parsley
1 tsp
Bay leaf
2 pcs.
Peppercorns
5 pcs.
Vegetable oil
2 tbsp. spoons
Fresh parsley

Prepare vegetables - cut onions and potatoes into cubes, grate carrots, chop cabbage, cut a garlic clove in half, removing the core, then grind.

In a large saucepan, fry the onions, garlic and carrots in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Then add potatoes and pour water (about 3 liters), bring to a boil, salt, add peppercorns and bay leaf. Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes.

When the potatoes are cooked in the soup, add chopped cabbage and dry parsley, cook for another 10-15 minutes. Taste and salt as needed. Serve the cabbage soup hot with sour cream or just with fresh parsley and black bread.
