Turkey with prunes and ginger recipe
Ingredients for 3-4 servings
turkey thigh fillet
900 g
carrots
1 pc.
pitted prunes
100 g
onions
1 pc.
ginger root
2 cm
lemon juice
20 ml
olive oil
2 tsp
chicken seasoning
0.5 tsp
salt
to taste
Step 1/5
Cut the thigh fillet into small cubes.
Step 2/5
Peel the onions and carrots, finely dice the vegetables and prunes.
Step 3/5
Fry the onions until golden, put on a plate. Lightly fry the turkey in the remaining oil.
Step 4/5
Return the onions to the pan, add the carrots and prunes, grated ginger. Also add the chicken seasoning and lemon juice, stir and cook covered for about half an hour over a low heat. Add a little water if needed.
Step 5/5
Serve the finished turkey with rice or fresh vegetables.
