Delicious jam with transparent pear pieces and a slight cardamom aroma. Such jam does not have a lot of sugar, it must be stored in the refrigerator or simply eaten quickly. If you want to cook a more classic version for storage at room temperature, double the amount of sugar and cook pear jam in three batches.

Recipe "Pear jam with orange and cardamom"
Ingredients
pears
400 g
orange
1 pc.
sugar
200 g
ground cardamom
pinch
water

Step 1/8
Wash the pears, remove the core.
Step 2/8
Cut into medium cubes.
Step 3/8
Peel and finely chop the orange.
Step 4/8
Put the fruit in a saucepan, add the cardamom, cover with sugar, stir and leave for an hour to release the juice.

Pour in the water, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes. Leave for an hour.

Prepare the clean jars by sterilising them in the oven at 100C for about 10 minutes or over hot steam. Bring the jam to a boil again and pour hot into the jars.

Close the covers.
