Ingredients for 2 servings
red lentils polished
200 g
onions
1 pc.
ground zira
pinch
parsley
bunch
olive oil

Rinse the lentils in running water.
Step 2/5
Cut the onions into cubes, fry in olive oil in a saucepan.
Step 3/5
Add lentils and zira, do not salt.
Step 4/5
Pour in 500ml water, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes until tender.
Step 5/5
At the end, salt the ready-made lentils, mash with a pusher in mashed potatoes if desired. Serve the lentil garnish hot, topped with chopped parsley.
