Sprat sandwiches are a classic. They are appropriate both on the festive table and as an everyday snack. We suggest trying to prepare an improved version - with eggs and processed cheese.

Recipe "Sandwiches with sprats in a new way"
Ingredients for 4 servings
sprats in Baltic sprat oil
270g (1 can)
melted cheese Gouda
80 g
chicken egg
2 pcs.
onion red
0.5 pcs.
mayonnaise
2 tbsp. spoons
Borodinsky bread
8 pieces
parsley
a few twigs
fennel
a few twigs
salt
to taste
Step 1/7
Hard-boil the eggs, cool and peel, cut into cubes.
Step 2/7
Cut the onion with thin feathers, then cut half of the resulting amount finely across.
Step 3/7
Mix the eggs and onion, add half the sprats from the jar, crush with a fork.
Step 4/7
Add cheese, mayonnaise and chopped herbs, mix everything. Taste and salt if necessary.

Cut pieces of Borodino bread diagonally or cut out circles from them using a serving ring.
Step 6/7
Spread the resulting mixture with sandwiches, top with whole sprats and onion feathers.
Step 7/7
Sprat sandwiches are ready.
