Tomatoes stuffed with red fish and chia salad

You have most likely heard about stuffed tomatoes. Have you tried to fill them with lightly salted trout, cucumbers and chia seeds in cream? It turns out an interesting and very spectacular festive dish. Especially if you use dark kumato tomatoes, as we did.

Ingredients for 6 servings
kumato tomatoes
6 pcs.
lightly salted trout
1 pack (200 g)
cucumber
2 pcs.
sour cream 20%
1 tbsp. spoon
fresh dill
5 g
chia seeds
20 g
cream 10%
60 ml
hot red pepper
1 g (1/6 tsp)
ground black pepper
1 g (1/6 tsp)
salt
2 g (1/3 tsp)
Step 1/7
Put the chia seeds in a bowl, cover with cream, add salt. Stir and leave for 40 minutes.
Step 2/7
Cut off the stalks from the cucumbers. Cut into small cubes.
Step 3/7
Remove the bones from the trout and cut the fillets into small cubes.
Step 4/7
Put the chopped cucumbers and trout in a bowl, add the sour cream and both types of peppers.

Add the chia and cream and stir.
Step 6/7
In tomatoes, cut off the "caps" with the stalk. Carefully spoon out the pulp, trying not to damage the walls. Grind the flesh with a blender with a little salt and serve as a juice or sauce.
Step 7/7
Stuff the tomatoes with the prepared filling. Garnish with dill to serve.
