Cheese-stuffed tomatoes are a very popular snack on the festive table and beyond. We suggest you slightly change the shape and serve not ordinary tomatoes or slices of tomatoes with cheese, but stuffed cherry. And add a thick tomato sauce to them.

Ingredients for 4 servings
large cherry or mini tomatoes
18 pcs.
hard cheddar cheese
200 g
fresh garlic
1 tooth.
sour cream 15%
50 ml
smoked paprika
1 g (1/6 tsp)
butter
40 g
wheat flour
30 g
basil fresh
5 g
rosemary fresh
for decorating
Step 1/7
Cut 10 cherry tomatoes in half. Carefully, trying not to damage the walls, remove the pulp with a spoon.

Put the flesh in a glass of blender, add 8 more cherries (can be cut in half) and chop until smooth.

Melt butter in a pan, add flour. Stir to avoid lumps. Lightly fry.

Pour the chopped tomato pulp there, add chopped basil. Mix and warm everything together. If necessary, evaporate the liquid a little. It should turn out to be moderately thick sauce.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater and put in a bowl. Pass the garlic through the press and add to the cheese.

Pour smoked paprika, put sour cream and mix until the components are combined.

Stuff the cherry tomato halves with the resulting filling. Garnish with rosemary leaves. Serve the stuffed cherries alongside the tomato sauce.
