Natural coffee. What is it

Coffee in grains Natural coffee is divided into two large groups & mdash; in grains and ground.

Coffee in grains

Coffee in grains & mdash; it is a fried and refined product packaged in one way or another.

It is usually sold in a blend. It can be a mixture of coffee beans from different countries or from different crops.

It is important that it is the same grade in quality & mdash; highest or first.

By mixing beans, a certain standard is set for a particular type of coffee and aged from year to year.

Coffee in premium grains is produced exclusively from arabica. This is no accident: it is always evenly fried, has a wonderful grain color with a matte or shiny surface, gives a rich taste with a subtle aroma.

As for the first grade, it can be produced from both arabica and robusta. Some unevenness in roasting is allowed.

Ground coffee

Traditionally, ground coffee, despite the fact that it allows the consumer to simplify the preparation of the drink, is valued less than coffee in grains. The reason is simple: high-quality coffee is expensive.

At the same time, many brands of ground coffee are supplied to the market, not always made from sufficiently high-quality grains and even from frankly mediocre raw materials.

In addition, coffee grains are always more fragrant than ground coffee, even if the latter is stored in modern vacuum packaging.
