Fried tofu rice recipe

Ingredients for 2 servings

Polished long grain rice
100 g
Tofu "Classic"
150 g
Broccoli
75 g
Carrots
50 g
Onions
1/4 head
Garlic
2 cloves
Ginger
1 tbsp. spoon
Soy sauce
3 tbsp. spoons
Coconut oil
2 tsp
Culinary mixture "Black and white sesame"

Green onion

Boil rice until tender.
Step 2/6
Pat the tofu well with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Cut into large cubes.

In a frying pan, heat 1 teaspoon of coconut oil, put cubes of tofu, fry over high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add 2 tbsp. tablespoons of soy sauce to the pan and continue frying until a crust forms, then turn and fry the other side until crusted. You can replace classic tofu with smoked tofu, in which case you do not need to fry it.

Transfer tofu to a plate, add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil to the pan, add chopped onions and garlic, fry over high heat until golden brown for about a minute. Add the finely chopped ginger and fry for another minute. Add the small-diced carrots, reduce the heat to medium and cook until soft (7-10 minutes). Divide the broccoli into small inflorescences, cut the stems, transfer to a frying pan to vegetables, add half a cup of water and simmer until tender (about 5 minutes).

Add the finished rice to the pan, stir, fry a little. Add 1 tbsp. a spoonful of soy sauce, salt, sesame and green onions. Fry for another couple of minutes.

Serve the finished rice with fried or smoked tofu, green onions, sesame seeds and soy sauce.
