cauliflower
1.5 kg
cheddar cheese
240g
cream 30%
190g
butter
50 g
paprika
0.5 tsp
oregano
1 tsp
turmeric
at the tip of a knife
salt
pinch
olive oil

Step 1/7
Peel the cauliflower from the leaves and blanch whole in boiling water in a large saucepan for 10 minutes.

Take the cabbage out of the water, dry it. Place on a baking sheet, sprinkle with paprika and oregano, pour over olive oil .

Bake at 180C for about 20 minutes until golden.

While the cabbage is baking, it's time to make a cheese sauce. Heat the butter in a saucepan, add cream.

Heat everything together, add grated cheese and a pinch of turmeric, actively stir with a spatula until the cheese dissolves.

The sauce should be homogeneous and viscous. If it is too thick, you can add a little more cream or milk. Keep the sauce warm until served.

Serve the finished cabbage with cheese sauce.
