If you like tuna, try to cook it in the Indian manner - with curry. The dish is quite spicy, but you can reduce the amount of chilli if you wish.

Recipe "Tuna curry"

Ingredients for 4 servings

tuna fillet frozen
1 pack
onions
1 pc (90 g)
tomatoes pink
200 g
ginger root
10 g
fresh garlic
2 cloves
curry spice blend 'Gold of India'
1.5 tsp
cumin
1/2 tsp
dried curry leaves
1 tsp
table salt
1/2 tsp
fresh chili, pod
1 pc.
vegetable oil
2 tbsp. spoons
water
100 ml

Step 1/8
Thaw the tuna fillets. Finely chop the onion and chilli, and cut the garlic into strips. Peel the ginger and finely chop as well.

Pour the oil into the pan, pour in the jeera and heat. Add the onion, garlic, chilli and fry until golden brown for about 10 minutes.

Tomaty cut into medium-sized pieces, add to onions.

Polozhite dried curry leaves, "Gold of India" spice mixture, salt, mix and continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Add water and simmer for about 10 minutes more until the tomatoes are soft.

Grind with a blender until smooth.

Cut the tuna fillets into roughly 2cm x 2cm cubes.

Put in the sauce, cook for about 10 minutes.

Serve with rice.
