The taste of this pie is built on a combination of sweet and salty, cheese amazingly emphasizes the sweetness of pumpkin! Such a pie is the perfect solution for cozy gatherings on long autumn evenings.

Ingredients, serves 8
pumpkin
600 g
frozen uncooked puff pastry
500g (1 pack)
cane sugar
3 tbsp. spoons
peasant butter
30 g
blue cheese "Royal Cheese"
70 g
fresh orange

Step 1/6
Take a sweet pumpkin with orange flesh. Deseed and peel, cut into slices about 1cm thick.

Preheat the oven to 200C. Put the dough to defrost at room temperature.

Put the pumpkin slices in a circle in a round one-piece baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar, top with pieces of butter. Remove a little zest from half an orange and squeeze out the juice, add everything to the pumpkin. Put in a hot oven for about half an hour, the pumpkin should caramelize, become soft and sweet.

Remove the pumpkin dish from the oven, leave to cool for about 5 minutes. Carefully stretch the thawed dough into a circle and put on top of the pumpkin, tuck the edges under the filling, form the sides. Often prick the dough with a fork to avoid blistering.

Return the cake tin to the hot oven and bake for a further 35-40 minutes until ruddy. Remove the finished cake from the oven, leave to cool for 5 minutes. Next, place a suitably sized plate on the tin, press down with your hands (use tacks) and, in a quick motion, gently flip the tin over with the plate so that the cake is stuffed upwards on the plate.

Crumble the cheese over the hot pumpkin, cut the cake and enjoy.
