In the classic recipe, old Russian pork is fried in a cauldron over an open fire, but we decided to try cooking this dish in a slow cooker - and the result pleasantly surprised us. The meat is very tender and juicy, with an amazing aroma. And using a slow cooker greatly simplifies the cooking process and saves time and effort.

rye flour

Cut the pork shoulder into a large cube and portion-fry in vegetable oil in a slow cooker until golden brown.

Cut onions and carrots into medium cubes, chop celery.

Mix the water with salt, flour and all-purpose seasoning.
