Recipe for Sausages in Octopus Dough
Ingredients for 18-20 portions
frozen yeast dough
500 g (1 pack)
sausages
18-20 pcs.
milk
2 tbsp. l.
butter
30 g
wheat flour
45 g
sugar eyes
36-40 pcs.
icing sugar
2 tsp
milk
1 tsp
Step 1/7
Defrost the dough according to the instructions on the package. Peel the sausages from the films. Cut each sausage to the middle into 3 equal parts, then turn it over and cut again into 3 equal parts, while half of the sausage should remain intact - so you get a blank with a lot of "legs."
Step 2/7
Lightly dust the work surface with flour and roll out the dough into a rectangular layer measuring about 25 x 45 cm. Cut it in half along, and then each half into strips about 4 cm wide.
Step 3/7
Cut the butter arbitrarily and combine with your hands with flour. Grind to make a crumb.
Step 4/7
Wrap each uncut half of the sausage in a strip of dough. Secure it well.
Step 5/7
Brush the dough with milk using a cooking brush and roll in butter and flour crumbs.
Step 6/7
Line a baking sheet with paper or a silicone baking mat, put sausages at some distance (about 10 pieces per baking sheet) and bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 20 minutes.
Step 7/7
Mix powdered sugar with 1 tsp. Milk and stick each "octopus" with 2 eyes on the resulting solution- just press a little and hold for 1-2 seconds.
