Peel the turnips and cut them into small pieces.

Put the chopped turnip in a pot, add a little water - just to cover the bottom. Place on a stove and cook over medium heat until soft. When the turnip cools, mash it and add honey or sugar to taste.

To make the dough, mix the sour cream, softened butter, egg, salt and honey thoroughly in a bowl until smooth. Then gradually add the sifted flour along with the soda and knead the dough until soft and elastic.

After kneading the dough until smooth, form a ball from it and cover with a towel. Leave to rest for 10-15 minutes.

Divide the dough into 10-12 parts and roll each into a kolobok.

Next, roll each dough ball into a thin circle. Put the filling on one half of the circle, cover with the other half and carefully secure the edges so that they do not open when baking.

Bake the patties in the oven at 180 degrees. First cook for 5 minutes on the lower level, then turn and bake for another 5 minutes on the upper level until golden brown.
