Chocolate Orange Cupcake Recipe
Ingredients for 10 servings

Step 1/14
Remove the butter from the refrigerator 20 minutes before cooking to soften.

Put the candies in a bowl and melt in a water bath or microwave. Cool to room temperature, while the chocolate should remain soft.

Put the softened butter in a bowl, pour sugar there and beat with a mixer in a fluffy light mass.

Separate the yolks from the whites.

Continuing to beat the butter with sugar, add three yolks to it one at a time. Whisk until the sugar dissolves. Then squeeze the juice from the orange and add 2 tbsp. spoons in the butter-egg mixture, whisk again.

Add melted chocolate, whisk well.

Grate the orange zest into the chocolate mixture and stir, you can spoon.

Beat the whites with a mixer until strong peaks.

Pour flour into the dough, mix.

Add the whipped whites and gently toss with a spoon until smooth, making sure the whites don't settle.

Line the tin with baking parchment, grease. And you do not have baking paper at hand, make a "French shirt": brush the mold with a small amount of butter and sprinkle cocoa so that all the walls are covered, shake off the excess. Spoon the dough into the tin, flatten and bake the cupcake.

Lay out the dough and spread it evenly.

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ℃ for about 45 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick: insert it into the cupcake and take it out, if the cupcake is baked, it should be dry.
