Chocolate Nests Recipe
Ingredients for 3 servings
thin straw
40 g
dark or milk chocolate
100 g
chocolate dragee
10-15 pcs. optional
egg
1 pc.
sugar
13 g
honey
30 g
flour
25 g
baking powder
4 g
soda
1 g
natural green dye
½ tsp
natural yellow dye
½ tsp
cocoa powder
1 tsp
Step 1/10
Break the straw so that you get short sticks - 4-5 cm each.
Step 2/10
Melt the chocolate in a water bath or in short pulses in the microwave.
Step 3/10
Using a spatula, mix the chocolate with the straw so that it is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the sticks.
Step 4/10
Put the nests from the resulting mass in silicone muffin molds, and if they are not at hand, make blanks from dense foil. The resulting amount of straw is enough for about 4 nests. Put them in the freezer until the chocolate has set completely.
Step 5/10
Cook the moss. To do this, beat the egg until fluffy with sugar and honey.
Step 6/10
Sift the flour, baking powder, soda and cocoa.
Step 7/10
Mix dry dyes with a little water and add to the rest of the ingredients.
Step 8/10
Put the dough in paper or plastic cups, filling them about a ⅓.
Step 9/10
Bake in the microwave on power 900W 2-3 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick.
Step 10/10
Garnish the finished nests with bits of moss and a chocolate dragee, as desired.
