A hearty and delicious option for a snack or breakfast without adding animal ingredients. If you have given up meat only for a while, this sandwich roll is all the more suitable for you: it tastes like turkey or lean pork in your thigh.

Recipe "Tofu Sandwich Roll"
Ingredients for 4-5 servings
soybean vegetable protein
150 g
onion red
1 pc.
onion green
multiple feathers
tofu paste with porcini mushrooms
1 jar
lavash
1 pack
teriyaki sauce
2-3 tbsp. l. or to taste
bell pepper
½ pcs.
ginger root
1 cm
garlic
2 cloves
chili pepper
a little, optional
vegetable oil
2 tbsp. l.
Step 1/7
Pour boiling water over the protein and leave for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2/7
Peel the garlic, onion and ginger root. Finely chop the garlic, the onion with the feathers, the ginger with the straws.

When the protein has softened enough, cut it into medium-sized pieces.

Heat a frying pan with 2 tbsp. spoons of vegetable oil and put garlic, onions, ginger on it, mix and cook for about 5 minutes. Add vegetable protein, fry for about 2 minutes.

Peel and dice the bell peppers. Add to the protein with vegetables, mix and cook everything together for another 5-7 minutes. A couple of minutes before cooking, add the teriyaki sauce. Add a little chopped chilli for flavour, if desired.

Finely chop the green onions. Grease each pita bread with about 1 tbsp. a spoonful of tofu paste, sprinkle with green onions, put vegetable protein with vegetables.

Roll up a little, bend the sides and roll into a roll. Repeat for all ingredients, you get 5 sandwich rolls.
