The classic version of Caesar salad is made without cherry tomatoes and even without chicken breast. At the same time, the option with tomatoes and chicken was so loved by many that many consider it a classic. We've added both to the recipe, but you can choose not to put those ingredients in at will, keeping it authentic. At the same time, we suggest that you prepare the sauce for the most popular salad yourself, it is not so difficult .

Recipe "Salad "Caesar" classic "
Ingredients for 2 servings
eggs (yolks only)
2 pcs.
chicken breast fillet with Provencal herbs
1 pack (250g)
romano salad
600-700 g
wheat crackers
to taste
cherry tomatoes
6-7 pcs (optional)
grated parmesan
1 tbsp. l. for sauce + to serve
lemon juice
1 tsp
garlic
2 tooth.
anchovies
3-4 pcs.
Dijon mustard
2 tsp
olive oil
50 ml
sunflower oil
100 ml
capers

icing sugar

Step 1/8
Separate the yolks from the whites. In the recipe "Caesar" you will only need yolks, and proteins can be used to prepare, for example, a protein omelet, meringue, meringue roll. Put the yolks in a bowl.

Peel the garlic and pass through the press, add to the yolks. Pour in the lemon juice and rub it all together with a fork.

Add 3-4 anchovies and rub again with a fork.

Put the Dijon mustard and, continuing to grind the future dressing with a fork, pour in a little olive oil. Add the grated parmesan and grind everything again with a fork.

Add the vegetable oil and capers, joining the ingredients with a whisk. Add the icing sugar and stir until combined.

Wash and dry the leaves of the Romano salad. Tear into pieces and mix with the sauce.

Cut the cherry tomatoes into halves. Slice the chicken breast.

Place the salad leaves with the sauce on a plate. Top with chicken pieces and some cherry tomatoes (both ingredients optional). Sprinkle the salad with parmesan, garnish with crackers and serve Caesar at the table.
