Recipe "Capercaillie Nest Salad"
Ingredients for 8-10 servings
chicken fillet
200 g
potatoes
2-3 pcs.
cucumber fresh
1 pc.
chicken eggs
2 pcs.
onions red
0.5 pcs.
fennel
a couple of twigs
mayonnaise
3 tbsp. spoons
salt
to taste
ground black pepper
to taste
chicken seasoning
1 tsp
quail eggs (for decor)
3-4 pcs.
potatoes for decor
1 pc.
vegetable oil for deep-frying
approx. 0.5 L
bay leaf
1 pc.
allspice peppercorns
2 pcs.
Step 1/11
Pour the chicken fillet with water, add the bay leaf, a few peas of allspice, salt to taste and boil for 20-25 minutes. Or you can wrap the fillets in foil and bake in a preheated 180C oven for about 30 minutes.

Grate one raw potato for the Korean carrots.
Step 3/11
Heat the vegetable oil well in a saucepan, carefully lower the grated potatoes into it and cook for 5-7 minutes until the chips are crisp. Place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Boil hard-boiled chicken and quail eggs. Boil 2-3 potatoes until cooked through for 15-20 minutes. Cool down.

Cut the red onion into feathers.

Cut the cucumber and chicken eggs lengthwise in half and then slice. Cut the potatoes into pieces the same size as the cucumbers and eggs.

Cut the chicken fillet into pieces the same size as the rest of the ingredients, sprinkle with chicken spices and mix. Finely chop the dill.

Put the boiled potatoes, eggs, cucumbers, onions, chicken and dill in a bowl. Add 200-250 g of mayonnaise or to taste, pepper, salt if necessary and mix.

Place the salad on a large plate with a slide. Tamp slightly.

Garnish with potato chips and quail eggs (you can cut one or two for beauty). Also, before putting quail eggs, you can sprinkle chopped herbs on the top of the salad.
