Recipe "Eggplant Rolls"
Ingredients for 4-5 servings
medium eggplant
2 pcs.
Altai cheese
200 g
mayonnaise
200 g
walnuts
200 g
garlic
2 cloves
khmeli-suneli seasoning
1/4 tsp
turmeric
1/4 tsp
oil for frying
50 ml
salt
to taste
Step 1/7
Slice the aubergines lengthways into thin layers (about 5mm).
Step 2/7
Fry them on both sides until brown.
Step 3/7
Place the aubergines on napkins to absorb excess oil.
Step 4/7
Send walnuts, half a garlic clove, hops suneli, turmeric, a pinch of salt and some water to the blender. Grind to a paste.
Step 5/7
Grate the cheese, add the remaining garlic and mayonnaise, mix.
Step 6/7
Put one of the fillings on each slice of eggplant.
Step 7/7
Roll the aubergines into neat rolls and serve.
