This legendary salad was invented at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York in 1896, but is popular all over the world today. We slightly changed the classic recipe and used Greek yogurt with mustard instead of mayonnaise. It turned out in the summer easy and fresh.

Recipe "Waldorf Salad"
Ingredients for 2-3 servings
apples (green, like "granny smith")
300g
celery stalk
2 pcs.
red grapes
100 g
walnuts
50 g
lemon juice
1 tbsp
Greek yogurt
1 pack (150 g)
Dijon mustard
1 tsp
salt
to taste
black pepper
to taste
romano salad to serve
2-3 sheets
Step 1/7
Peel the celery stems with a housekeeper from the top hard fibers and cut into small cubes.
Step 2/7
Peel the apples, cut into small cubes and drizzle with lemon juice so as not to darken.
Step 3/7
Roughly chop the walnuts and halve the grapes.
Step 4/7
Mix yogurt with mustard, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5/7
Combine all the salad ingredients, season with yoghurt sauce and stir.
Step 6/7
Put the salad in the fridge for at least an hour to infuse.
Step 7/7
Serve the salad on romano leaves, garnished with nuts and grapes.
