This recipe is a real godsend for those who love Asian food. Juicy meat, a crunchy mix of vegetables and a savoury ginger dressing create the perfect balance. If you prepare the dressing in advance, and take a sous-vide chicken breast instead of steak, it will turn out no less tasty, but even faster. Such a salad is good both warm and chilled - ideal for summer lunches or light dinners.

Asian Style Beef Salad Recipe
Ingredients for 2-3 servings
beef (tenderloin or steak)
300-350g
salad mix "Tuscany"
1 pack (120 g)
carrots
1 medium
green onion
2 feathers
cilantro
15 g
mint
8 g
roasted peanuts
75 g
vegetable oil
1 tbsp. l.
lime to serve
1 pc.
For refueling:
fresh ginger
20 g (a piece about 2 cm thick)
sweet chili sauce
80 ml
rice vinegar
10 ml
soy sauce
20 ml
lime juice
40 ml
brown sugar
7 g
Step 1/6
For the dressing, grate the ginger on a fine grater and mix in a bowl with the sweet chilli sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, lime juice and sugar. Whisk until smooth.
Step 2/6
Preheat the grill or grill pan over a high heat. Brush the meat on both sides with vegetable oil. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare (or to the desired extent).
Step 3/6
Transfer the meat to a plate, cover with foil and let rest for 5 minutes. Then thinly slice.
Step 4/6
Grate the carrots with straws, tear the cilantro and mint with your hands on the leaves.
Step 5/6
In a large bowl, combine the salad mix, carrots, onions, cilantro, mint, meat and half the dressing.
Step 6/6
Place the mixture on a platter, arrange the beef on top and sprinkle with the peanuts. If desired, pour the remaining sauce over the meat or just salt and pepper to taste. Serve the salad with lime wedges.
