Lush kefir fritters are a lovely home-cooked breakfast. Make them a little more or less sweet to your taste, serve with sour cream, your favorite jam or condensed milk.

Ingredients for 5-6 servings
kefir
500 ml
eggs

sugar
50-100g
vanilla sugar

salt

flour

baking powder

Step 1/4
Break 4 eggs into a bowl. Add 50-100g of sugar depending on how sweet the pancakes you like. Stir with a whisk.

Pour 500 ml of kefir, mix with a whisk until smooth. Add the vanilla sugar, salt and stir again.
Step 3/4
Pour 300 g of flour and 15 g of baking powder, mix thoroughly with a whisk so that there are no lumps, and gradually add more flour, stirring each time until the dough reaches the consistency of liquid sour cream. In total, you need to add 300-500 g of flour, the exact amount will depend on the quality of the flour and kefir. Leave the dough to disperse for 15-20 minutes, it should thicken a little and become the consistency of thick sour cream. Add a little more flour if necessary. Pour 2 tbsp. l. vegetable oil and mix with a whisk until smooth.
Step 4/4
Fry the fritters in batches in a non-stick pancake pan for about 0.5 minutes on each side, until ruddy.
