Recipe "Tomatoes stuffed with cheese and garlic"
Ingredients for 4 servings
strong large tomatoes
4 pcs (or 8 small ones)
ricotta
200 g
garlic
1 clove
Parmesan cheese
20 g
basil
several leaves
olive oil
1 tbsp. l.
salt
to taste
Step 1/4
Wash the tomatoes. Cut off the "caps," carefully remove the pulp from the tomatoes with a spoon, trying not to damage the walls, salt from the inside. If desired, tomatoes can be blanched - so they will be softer. To do this, at the bottom of the tomatoes, make shallow cross-shaped cuts, blanch in boiling water for half a minute each. Cut off the lid from the cooled tomatoes and remove the skin. Remove the flesh and then fill the tomatoes with the recipe.
Step 2/4
Mix ricotta, olive oil, garlic passed through the press, cheese crushed on a fine grater and finely chopped basil.
Step 3/4
Stuff tomatoes with the resulting mixture and cover with tomato "caps."
Step 4/4
Stuffed tomatoes are ready.
