Recipe "Lean pilaf with mushrooms "
Ingredients for 4 servings
rice
150-200g
royal champignons
1 pack (400g)
carrots
1 pc.
cumin
½ tsp
garlic
1 head
allspice peppercorns
several pieces
vegetable oil
50-70 ml
Step 1/6
Peel and cut the carrots into strips. Cut the onions into pieces. Rinse the rice.
Step 2/6
Pour the oil into a saucepan and heat. Spoon over the chopped carrots and onions. Stir.
Step 3/6
Wipe the mushrooms with a napkin or rinse quickly without soaking. Cut each into four and add to the onions and carrots.
Step 4/6
Salt, pepper to taste, stir. Add a few peppercorns of allspice, if desired, add your favorite spices as well. Fry everything together for 10-15 minutes. If desired, you can add a sprig of thyme.
Step 5/6
Put washed rice on mushrooms with vegetables, no need to mix. Cook for 5 minutes. Cover with boiling water so that it covers the rice, and insert a head of garlic into the center. Turn down the heat and cook for about 25 minutes, until the rice has completely absorbed the water.
Step 6/6
Once the water is fully absorbed, make a parchment "lid," cover a pan of pilaf with it and leave to infuse for about 30 minutes. Mix before serving.
