Middle Eastern street food traditions are something! A mixture of flavors of spices, chargrilled meat, spicy herbs, all this of course cannot be repeated at home exactly, but it is definitely worth trying. This version uses dietary chicken breast meat, but the dish does not lose at all from this - the meat turns out to be juicy, and the sauce and tender baked eggplants complement it perfectly!

chicken breast fillet

1-2 pcs.

Often prick the eggplant with a fork, wrap in foil and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees until soft (20-30 minutes).

Coat the chicken breasts with the resulting mixture, wrap in foil and leave for 15 minutes, then bake in a preheated oven until tender - 15-20 minutes.

Peel the eggplant, cut the flesh into strips, drizzle with lemon juice.

Preheat the pitas in the oven for about a minute, score to open or cut into halves. Fill the pitas with chicken fillets and aubergines, pouring sauce over the filling, serve hot!
