Recipe "Cranberry and meringue pie"
Ingredients for 8-10 servings

Step 1/9
Grind the oil softened at room temperature with a fork with powdered sugar.

Gently break the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Add the yolks to the oil, mix, sift the flour to the mixture and knead the dough with a fork.

Do not get carried away, you should not knead too long so that it does not become stiff. Collect the dough in a lump, and if not going, add another spoonful of cold water.

Distribute the dough with your hands in a dish greased with oil and sprinkled with flour, form the sides. Refrigerate for a while while you cook the filling.

Cut the apple into slices, wash and dry the berries.

Beat the proteins with a mixer until good peaks, add sugar and continue to beat for another 3 minutes.

Distribute the proteins over the dough, arrange the washed and dried cranberries and apple slices on top. In this version, the meringue falls off and turns into a delicate crispy substrate for berries. If you want a more fluffy and soft meringue, then put the berries and apple first, and meringue on top.
