Recipe "Quail legs with stewed plums"
Ingredients for 2 servings
quail legs frozen
240g
plum
6-8 pcs.
orange
1 pc. (squeeze juice )
chilli flakes
½ tsp
five spices (cloves, cinnamon, fennel seeds, anise, black pepper)
1 tsp
soy sauce
2 tbsp. spoons
honey
1 tbsp. spoon

Prepare the sauce: mix orange juice, soy sauce and honey, add five spices 1/2 part of the seasoning. The finished seasoning can be bought in Chinese spice stores or made on your own by mixing ground cloves, cinnamon, fennel, anise and black pepper in equal proportions.

Rub the rest of the seasoning into the legs.

Cut the plums into halves, remove the bones. Pour the sauce into the baking dish, put the plums and put the bake on the 180℃ for 15-20 minutes.

Remove the plum pan, place the legs so they are completely covered with sauce and bake in the oven for about 40 minutes, after 20 minutes turn the legs over with the other side. Check the legs for readiness, they should become soft and soaked in sauce, and the plums should completely boil.
