The French classic is niçoise salad, originally from Nice. Ideally, tuna in niçoise should be lightly fried on top - and practically raw inside.

Recipe for "Nicoise with tuna fried in sesame"
Ingredients for 2 servings
potatoes
200 g
tuna steak
1 pack (250 g)
cherry
8 pcs.
arugula
1 pack (100 g)
eggs
2 pcs.
vegetable oil
50 ml
mustard
2 tsp
lemon juice
2 tsp
anchovies
2 pcs.
liquid honey
1 tsp
white and black sesame mix

Boil potatoes and eggs, cool.
Step 2/8
Peel and chop the potatoes into large wedges and halve the eggs.
Step 3/8
Pat the tuna steak dry with a napkin, lightly salt and pepper. Dip the tuna on all sides in the sesame.

In a grill pan with vegetable oil, fry the tuna for 3 minutes on each side.

Cool lightly and cut into thin slices.

Wash and dry the cherries, cut them in half.

For the dressing, combine the oil, mustard, honey, lemon juice and anchovy pieces. Anchovies can be replaced with spiced oil sprat fillets.

Assemble the dish: Place the sauce on the bottom of the plate, then a mix of salads, potatoes, cherry tomatoes and tuna slices. Top with the egg halves and sprinkle with the sesame mixture.
