Recipe for filo mini strudels with apples and pears
Ingredients for 3-4 servings
filo dough
1 pack (250g)
butter
50 g
apple
2 pcs.
pear
2 pcs.
cane sugar
40 g
mint
a few twigs
Step 1/4
Defrost the filo dough at room temperature for about 20 minutes, keep covered with a slightly wet towel or napkin. Melt the butter.
Step 2/4
Peel the apples, pears can not be cleaned if the skin is thin enough. Cut the fruit into small cubes and simmer with the sugar and a couple of tablespoons of butter until soft. Cut off the mint leaves and finely chop, mix with the fruit filling.
Step 3/4
Grease a sheet of filo with melted butter, cut lengthwise into two strips. Put a little filling on each strip (without syrup) and roll up the "envelopes."
Step 4/4
Preheat the oven to 190C, oil the mini strudels and bake until golden (about 20-25 minutes). The finished strudels can be poured over the remaining syrup and served with a scoop of ice cream.
