These crescents prepare very simply and quickly, and end even faster. Do not neglect orange zest in this recipe: it gives the liver an amazing aroma.

Almond Crescents Recipe
Ingredients for 40 pieces of portions
softened butter
240g
flour
300g
yolks
2 pcs.
ground almonds
140 g
sugar

orange
1 pc.
salt
4 g
icing sugar

Step 1/6
Use a citrus grater to remove the zest from the orange.
Step 2/6
Combine wheat and almond flour, sugar, salt and zest in a bowl. Add the diced butter at room temperature and rub with your hands into the shortbread.
Step 3/6
Add the yolks and knead the dough. Form a ball and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
Step 4/6
Roll sausages from chilled dough and cut them into blocks of 2-2.5 cm. Form crescents from them.
Step 5/6
Bake for 17 minutes at 170C.
Step 6/6
Still warm crescents roll in powdered sugar.
