Recipe "Mimosa classic"
Ingredients for 4-5 servings
sardines in oil
1 can (175g)
boiled potatoes
230g
boiled carrots
60 g
white onion
20 g
eggs
3 pcs.
green onion
multiple feathers
mayonnaise
1 can (190g)
salt
to taste
fennel
a few twigs
Step 1/9
Boil hard boiled eggs, separate whites from yolks and grate separately.
Step 2/9
Grate the potatoes on a medium grater, salt, put half of the total in a salad dish and cover with a mayonnaise mesh on top.
Step 3/9
Lay out the second layer - fish. Some of the canned oil can be drained, but do not completely remove it - it will add juiciness to the salad. Mash the sardines with a fork, spread evenly over the potatoes and brush with a little mayonnaise.
Step 4/9
The third layer is chopped onions. If using regular onions, scald it with boiling water to remove bitterness.
Step 5/9
The fourth layer is the remaining grated potatoes. Salt and thinly brush with mayonnaise.
Step 6/9
The fifth layer is carrots and mayonnaise grated on a medium grater.
Step 7/9
The sixth layer is crushed proteins. Season them with a pinch of salt, gently distribute a portion of mayonnaise on top, spreading with a spoon so that there are no gaps.
Step 8/9
The seventh layer is boiled yolks.
Step 9/9
Remove the finished salad for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator for impregnation. Serve garnished with herbs.
