Marmalade can be made from the juice of any berries and fruits, we decided to try melon and watermelon. Marmalade according to this recipe (100 g of juice - 100 g of sugar) turns out to be very sweet and lasts a long time. You can halve the amount of sugar but keep the marmalade in the fridge or just eat it quickly .

Recipe "Marmalade on watermelon and melon agar"
Ingredients for 8-10 servings
watermelon
400 g
melon
500 g
sugar
500 g
agar-agar
6 tsp
juice of any
100 ml
lemon (juice only)

Step 1/5
Peel the watermelon and melon from the peel and seeds. Punch the watermelon in a blender and then pass the resulting mass through a sieve to separate the cake. Repeat with melon.

Pour 100 ml of juice into two cups and dissolve 3 teaspoons of agar-agar in each. Pour the watermelon juice (without agar) into a saucepan, add half the sugar and heat until the crystals dissolve. Pour in the watermelon juice with the swollen agar, stir, bring to a boil and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring.

Repeat with melon juice.

Pour the resulting mass into molds (you can use cookie cutters, ice or a regular baking dish) and refrigerate until set (20-30 minutes).

Remove the frozen marmalade from the molds or cut into pieces if a large one-piece mold was poured, and roll in sugar.
