Korean Pickled Daikon Recipe
Ingredients for 4 servings
daikon
1 pc.
carrots
1 pc.
onions
1 pc.
soy sauce
3 tbsp. spoons
hot pepper
1 pod
wine vinegar
1 tbsp. spoon
sesame oil
3 tbsp. spoons
paprika
1 tsp
ground coriander
1/2 tsp
black peppercorns
5 pcs.
sesame
1 tbsp. spoon
sugar
1 tbsp. spoon
salt

Step 1/7
Peel the daikon and carrots, grate for carrots in Korean.
Step 2/7
Cut the onions into thin rings. Salt, add a little vinegar and mix.
Step 3/7
In a saucepan, combine salt, sugar and 50 ml of water, heat until the salt dissolves. Add vinegar, soy sauce, paprika, ground coriander, hot and black pepper. Adjust the amount of hot pepper to your liking, and fresh can be replaced with dry flakes or ground.

Combine the daikon, carrots and onions in a bowl. Pour in the dressing and sesame oil.

Mix thoroughly.

Put in a container in the refrigerator.

After a few hours, the vegetables are cooked. Serve topped with chopped onion greens and sesame seeds.
