Recipe "Pickled radish"
Ingredients for 4 servings
radish
200-250g
garlic
3-4 cloves
fresh dill
2 sprigs
sugar
0.5 tsp
coarse salt
0.5 tsp
vinegar 9%
1 tbsp. l.
olive oil
1-2 tbsp. l.
drinking water
2 tbsp. l.
Step 1/3
Wash the radish thoroughly, cut off the tails and tops. Then lightly beat off each root vegetable using a cooking hammer or rolling pin.
Step 2/3
Finely chop the dill, cut the garlic into thin plates.
Step 3/3
Put the radish, garlic and dill in a lidded jar or a closing food container. Add salt, sugar, vinegar, olive oil and water. Mix all ingredients thoroughly, close the lid and put in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.
Tip: If possible, stir the radish a couple of times during the infusion process to distribute the marinade evenly. You can store the finished snack for 3-5 days in the refrigerator, but ideally eat it in the first 1-2 days, while the radish is especially crispy and fragrant.
