Lomi-lomi salmon is a very famous Hawaiian dish served as a side dish. In fact, this is a salad of lightly salted salmon (salmon - translated from English as "salmon"), red onions and fresh tomatoes, seasoned with hot peppers. It is served cold with crushed ice.

Recipe "Lomi-lomi salmon"
Ingredients for 2 servings
trout lightly salted fillet-piece
200 g
tomatoes pink
1 pc.
onion green
20 g
chili peppers hot
1/3 pc or to taste
ice
2 large cubes
red onion (or shallot)
50 g
sesame
1 tbsp. l. or to taste
Step 1/7
Carefully remove the trout from the skin and cut into small cubes.
Step 2/7
Cut the red onion into small cubes as well. Fold into a bowl along with the salmon.
Step 3/7
Peel the hot peppers, finely chop and add to the rest of the ingredients.

Cut the tomato into small cubes.
Step 5/7
Finely chop the green onions. Add the tomato and onion to the bowl to the rest of the ingredients.

Sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
Step 7/7
Split the ice in a bag or blender, add to the salad and mix slowly for 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately.
