Kuskuseya is a popular dish in Egyptian cuisine in which couscous is soloed. It can also be cooked with fish and meat, and today we will prepare couscous with chicken .

Ingredients, serves 8
couscous
1 pack (350g)
chicken thigh fillet
1 pack
canned natural chickpeas
100 g
garden radish
8 pcs.
carrots
2 pcs.
onions
2 pcs.
garlic
2 cloves

0.5 tsp
paprika
0.5 tsp
hot ground pepper
to taste
tomato paste
3 tbsp. spoons
light raisins
50 g
lime

olive oil

sour cream
1 can (350g)
cucumber fresh
1 pc.
fresh mint
a few twigs
Step 1/8
Cut onions, carrots and chicken meat into cubes, chop garlic, cut radishes into quarters.
Step 2/8
In a deep pan, fry the onions, garlic and carrots in olive oil until golden. Add the radishes, tomato paste and spices.
Step 3/8
Squeeze out the juice of half a lime, mix and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 4/8
Add chickpeas, chicken and raisins to the pan, fry for another 10 minutes until the chicken is almost cooked.
Step 5/8
Pour the couscous on top of the vegetables. Cover with boiling water so it covers the surface of the couscous .
Step 6/8
Cook for 5 minutes, uncovered, on a high heat.
Step 7/8
Make a sauce from sour cream and grated cucumber by mixing them.
Step 8/8
Gently turn the dish onto a plate, sprinkle with chopped herbs. Serve with sour cream and grated cucumber sauce.
