Ingredients for 5 servings
Catfish fillets
500-600 g
1 small potato
1 onion
Garlic
1-2 cloves
A few green onion feathers
A few sprigs of dill
Wholegrain wheat flour for dipping
Salt
Pepper
Lemon juice
1 tbsp. spoon
Melted butter for frying

Finely chop the onion and fry in melted butter until transparent .

Rinse the fillet, dry it thoroughly and chop it into small pieces with a heavy knife (do not use a meat grinder for fish, such minced meat will turn out to be too homogeneous).

Peel and finely grate the potatoes, immediately pour over the lemon juice.

Combine minced fish, potatoes, fried onions, squeeze garlic, add finely chopped green onion feathers and dill, salt, pepper and knead well with your hands.

Form small patties by rolling them in flour, fry in well-warmed ghee on both sides, then cover and simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Such cutlets are delicious both hot and cold!
