The recipe for this confiture comes from France, it is a little similar to our boiled condensed milk, but differs in both taste and consistency. Additives can be very different - orange peel, candied fruits, vanilla, salt, here - nuts and aromatic liquor.

Recipe "Confiture from milk"
Ingredients for 4 servings
Whole milk
1 L
Sugar
500 g
Chocolate
a few pieces
Almonds
80 g
Fragrant alcohol (amaretto)

Step 1/6
Pour the milk into a saucepan.
Step 2/6
Pour in the sugar and place on the heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cook for 1.5 - 2 hours, stirring occasionally. At first it will seem that nothing is happening, but then the milk will begin to darken, caramelize and eventually turn into a thick mass.

Somewhere in the middle of cooking, add chopped nuts .
Step 4/6
Add the chocolate.
Step 5/6
Pour in the liquor.
Step 6/6
Pour the finished confiture into a jar and refrigerate for a couple of days - it will thicken. Yummy!
