Jam is a great way to save berries for the winter, especially if you have harvested a large crop. We do not cook this jam for long, and the berries remain more or less whole and not boiled.

Recipe "Strawberry jam for the winter "
Ingredients for 10 (1can) servings
strawberry
1 kg
sugar
0.5 kg
Step 1/9
Wash the strawberries, go over, cut off the green tails.
Step 2/9
Transfer to a bowl, pour sugar in a ratio of 2:1 (we took 0.5 kg of sugar for 1 kg of strawberries without stalks). Leave for 3-4 hours until the strawberries are juiced. If the room is too hot, remove the berries with sugar in the cold. Important: the denser your berries, the more time it will take to release juice.
Step 3/9
When the strawberries are juiced, drain the resulting syrup in a ladle. Put the berries aside for now.
Step 4/9
Place on heat, bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
Step 5/9
Put the berries in a saucepan, pour hot syrup, mix, bring to a boil, boil for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and leave to cool.
Step 6/9
Then heat everything together again for 5 minutes. Remove the foam. Stir.
Step 7/9
Sterilize the glass jar and place the neck down on a paper napkin.
Step 8/9
Pour the jam into a jar, cover with a sterilised lid and twist.
Step 9/9
Turn the jar upside down, place on the lid. Wrap something warm and leave to cool completely.
