Recipe "Kish with cherry tomatoes and basil "
Ingredients for 4 servings
wheat flour
200 g
butter
100 g
egg
3 pcs.
cherry tomatoes
200 g
cream 20%
200 ml
cheese
100 g
water
100 ml
salt
to taste
basil
bunch
ground black pepper
to taste
Step 1/9
Rinse and pat dry the vegetables and herbs with a paper towel. Remove the eggs and cream from the fridge.

Grate over the cold butter and add it to the sifted flour.
Step 3/9
Lightly whisk one chicken egg and pour it over the dry ingredients. Then add cold water and salt.
Step 4/9
Knead the elastic dough, which should easily gather in a lump and not stick to your hands. Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.

Roll out the chilled dough and place in the tin. Cut off excess dough with a knife. Prick the dough in several places with a fork so that it bakes and does not bubble.

Place the tin in an oven preheated to 180C for 25 minutes.

Combine eggs and cream, salt and pepper to taste. Cut the cherry tomatoes into halves, grate the cheese coarsely.

Remove the mold from the oven, pour the filling into it and lay half the cherry on top. Sprinkle with the grated cheese and return to the oven for another 25-30 minutes.

Sprinkle the basil leaves over the finished cake and serve hot to keep the quiche crisp.
