Recipe "Tatar-style goulash in a slow cooker "
Ingredients for 5-6 servings
beef for second courses
1 pack (750 g)
onions
400 g
carrots
400 g
potatoes washed
1 kg
cucumbers gherkins
50 g (plus 60 ml brine)
wheat flour
20 g
drinking water
150 ml
meat seasoning
10 g
salt
10 g
vegetable oil for frying
2 tbsp. l.
Step 1/7
Fry the beef in a slow cooker in the "Fry" mode in portions so that a crust forms faster and the meat does not begin to cook in its own juice.
Step 2/7
Make a mixture of brine from gherkins, water, flour, meat seasoning and salt.
Step 3/7
Cut carrots and onions into small cubes.
Step 4/7
Add vegetables and gherkins to the fried beef (cucumbers can not be cut) and mix. The slow cooker is off at this point.
Step 5/7
Put potatoes cut into large cubes or wedges around the meat.
Step 6/7
Pour the cooked spice mixture over the meat and vegetables.
Step 7/7
Set the slow cooker to "Extinguish" mode for 1.5 hours. Be sure to cover the contents on top with parchment so that the splashes of fat do not scatter.
