Recipe "Stuffed pepper classic"
Ingredients for 4 servings
For peppers:
sweet pepper
8 pcs.
ground pork and beef
400 g
onions
1 pc.
carrots
1-2 pcs.
garlic
1-2 cloves
round grain rice
1/3 cup
salt
to taste
water
100 ml
For the sauce:
tomato paste
2 tbsp. spoons
sour cream 25%
150 g
water
1 cup
salt
to taste
dill and parsley to serve

Step 1/7
Peel the onions and carrots. Cut the onions into cubes, grate the carrots. Remove the core from the garlic, grind the garlic itself.

Rinse the rice, mix with minced meat and vegetables, salt, pepper .

Stir about 100ml of water into the filling.

At the peppers, carefully cut off the top and remove the seeds. Stuff the peppers with the filling not too tightly.

Put the peppers in a saucepan, pour in a glass of water, bring to a boil and turn down the heat. Add sour cream and tomato paste to the pan, salt.

Cover the pan and simmer for 40-45 minutes until tender.

Serve the peppers hot or cooled, sprinkled with fresh chopped herbs.
