water

Step 1/5
Rinse the chickpeas, let the water drain. Remove the zest from half the lemon. Grind the zira in a mortar or with a knife.

In the bowl of the blender, send chickpeas, herbs, onions, garlic, juice of half a lemon, jeera, salt, half an olive oil and water. Grind to a thick doughy state, but not quite in porridge, small pieces of chickpeas and herbs should be preserved.
