Ingredients for 3-4 servings

wheat flour

water
200 ml
ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 tbsp (10 g)

Put the flour, ground cinnamon, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Stir.

Pour 200ml water into the ladle and bring to a boil. Add butter, sugar and bring everything together to a boil.

Pour the dry ingredients into liquid ones, return to the heat and heat, stirring intensively, until the dough becomes homogeneous and a film forms at the bottom of the pan.

Add one egg, mix vigorously. Add the second egg and mix again vigorously with a spatula or mixer with hook attachment until smooth. The dough should be thick enough. If it is too thick, add a little more hot water and mix. If the eggs are very small, you can add another egg.

Heat the vegetable oil well in a ladle for frying. You can check the temperature like this: carefully put a small piece of dough in the oil - if the bubbles went and the dough began to fry, the deep fryer warmed up enough. Insert a star-shaped dough nozzle into the cooking bag (such bags and nozzles can be easily bought on marketplaces).

Squeeze the dough into the fryer in small strips and fry until ruddy for 3-5 minutes.

Put the finished strips of dough on paper towels to remove excess fat. Serve the churros garnished with icing sugar or with your favourite chocolate sauce.
